Developed Blackboard and Second Life components to promote student exposure to technological applications necessary for effective instruction.
—Devised online course concept by creating a virtual classroom (Blackboard) comprising the adaptation of lecture materials to visual representations of information, including digital lectures, PowerPoint presentations, Wiki discussion boards, classroom blogs, and podcasts.
—Second Life applications included access to student academic achievements, namely the inception of the First-Year Composition Film Festival, which invites international access to one of three islands purchased by the University. Student documentary films are on exhibit and provide a real-world application for their course work in a virtual forum.
