
Dr. Somali Gupta
Dr. Somali Gupta is Professor of English Literature and Language at the Government College in Bhilai (CG), and has over 25 years experience in higher education. Her areas of specialization include post colonial literature. She has been involved in a research project with the University Grants Commission (UGC) in India, and is currently guiding six doctoral students.
Somali is an experienced “human process facilitator” who has been trained at the Indian Society for Applied Behavioral Science (ISABS). She is affiliated with ISABS since 2001 and holds the role of professional member and regional coordinator for Chattisgarh and MP. In her freelance work with groups, Somali takes a somewhat unique approach to human capital development that opens up space for transformative learning. She has previously worked with the graduate students at IIM-Ahmedabad, IMHR, Jaipur, and IMHR, Delhi. She has also been associated with the leadership programmes organized by IIFM, Bhopal and the executive training programmes organized by BHEL, Haridwar, Bhopal, and Durgapur. Additionally, Somali has been involved with SAIL (The Bhilai Steel Plant Teachers Training Programme) and conducted a workshop for the District Judges at the National Judicial Academy to address gender issues. Somali is also a professional member of the “Coach Consultants Consortium.”
In her role as Principal Consultant with ORGDYNE Training & Consulting, LLC, Dr. Somali Gupta is involved in all facets of the firm's activities, but more specifically, in the areas of process consultation and strategy facilitation.
